What Are Milia?

Milia are whitish, pearly bumps/pimples on the skin, usually across cheeks, nose and chin.

Milia also known as whiteheads are very common white pimples that occur in persons of all ages Milia occur when dead skin cells and sebaceous matter gets trapped near the skin surface.

How Are Milia Removed?

In adults, the white bumps may be removed through cauterisation. People go in for treatments just for cosmetic improvements. If you are pre to developing Milia, then using a suitable exfoliating scrub on a regular basis might help avoid the problem, this something we would be delighted to provide some advise and guidance on.
